Project Ready Summer Steam Camp

Through the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, Project Ready Summer STEAM Camp participants will engage in hands-on problem-solving activities using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) concepts, centered around a rotating annual theme. Each day, students will apply creative and critical-thinking skills to solve challenges, such as making liquid nitrogen ice cream, turning arugula into spaghetti, tackling lab assignments in a university's chemistry lab, and much more!

The camp also includes complimentary breakfast, lunch, and snacks, along with off-site visits to local and regional destinations such as the Tennessee Aquarium, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and a fun afternoon of swimming at UTC’s aquatic center.

Camp Dates:
Held annually during the summer (dates to be announced) as a week-long day camp from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (Monday–Friday).

Project Ready Summer STEAM Camp is currently open to Hamilton County rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for the upcoming school year (Fall 2026- Spring 2027).
