Remembering Warren E. Logan, Jr.

25-year Leader of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga [1995-2020]

On January 23, 2021 the ULGC family received the devastating news regarding the passing of our longtime leader, Mr. Warren E. Logan, Jr., who served faithfully for 25 years as the President and CEO of our Urban League affiliate. While this will be a great loss to our entire community, our organization will continue to uphold his vision for African Americans, other minorities and disadvantaged individuals to experience the highest quality of life. ​An endowment has been established in Mr. Logan’s honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the  Urban League of Greater Chattanooga Warren E. Logan, Jr. Legacy Endowment Fund.  Creating this endowment was something that Mr. Logan dreamed of establishing to help sustain the future of the organization for generations to come. Arrangements are being handled by the John P. Franklin Funeral Home. Other cards or gifts may be sent directly to the funeral home for the family.
