Interest Application
The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is seeking highly motivated student leaders to join Project Ready National Achievers Society (NAS) , a signature academic and leadership development program for youth in grades 9th -12th enrolled in a Hamilton County Public School. Formally known as National Achievers Society, Project Ready works with both high achieving and high potential students to help prepare them for college, careers and life post-graduation.
Through the National Urban League's Project Ready curriculum, the program exposes youth to the many possibilities of higher education, mentorship, and civic, community, and cultural engagement.
Since its debut, Project Ready graduates have earned academic scholarships and attended some of the top universities and HBCUs in the country, including Stanford, Howard, Georgia Tech, Morehouse, and Yale.
*45 students total will be accepted, with an even distribution across grades.

Attend bi-monthly group meetings from 5:00pm -7:00pm
Participate in the Fall and Spring semester
Actively participate in individual and group activities as assigned
Maintain a 2.7 or higher GPA by the end of each semester (must submit grade verification)
Volunteer 5 hours a semester
Meet and engage with mentor once a month
