Warren E. Logan, Jr.
President & Chief Executive Officer
Warren E. Logan, Jr. is serving in his 18thyear as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. Warren also serves as Chair, Tennessee Urban League Affiliates (TULA), a state-wide collaborative focusing on leveraging TULA’s impact for social and economic changes throughout the state of TN and in particular the major urban centers (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, and Nashville).
Warren served for two years as President, Association of Executives (AOE), National Urban, League (NUL), and as a member of the NUL Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. He led a national African-American Leadership Delegation to Beijing, China in 2012, a relationship-building and collaboration visit established by the NUL-led Trade and Cultural Mission to China.
Prior to joining the Urban League, Warren served in various management and leadership positions at the TN Valley Authority’s Division of Power, where he was responsible for strategic deployment of Energy Conservation Initiatives over the seven state region and the Energy Conservation Loan Fund. For several years he served as Executive Director of the Office of Minority Business Enterprise, Statewide Business Development Centers in TN.
Warren is a graduate of Tennessee State University and has completed the Duke University Center for Executive Leadership as well as, a host continuing education and leadership training. Warren serves on a number of boards that contribute to the community’s well-being and overall quality of life. These include, but are not limited to, Electric Power Board (Vice Chairman), Brightbridge, Inc., and LWIA5. Warren is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga.
He and his wife, Linda has two adult daughters.

Education & Youth Director
Mary Edwards has a passion to help with the continued development of the educational programs for the betterment of the community, society and our nation. She finds it an honor to be a part of such a prestigious organization and looks forward to serving the students, parents and community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters in Business Administration. She has over 10 years of experience in Education and over 5 years of experience in Business in both the profit and nonprofit sector.

Pecola A. Lee
Community Health Coordinator
Pecola A. Lee is a native of Chattanooga and graduated from Howard High School. She holds a Master of Science in Administration (with a concentration in Human Resources) from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Organization Management from Covenant College. She also holds several leadership designations, including: certification in Health & Quality of Life Division of Project Lead from the Nation Urban League; Whitney M. Young, Jr. Leadership Conference; Global Career Developmental Facilitation from The Center for Credentialing & Education; and PACE Facilitator from The University of Tennessee. Pecola has worked as the Community Health Navigator for the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga for eleven years, assisting disadvantaged individuals with access to the health resources they need to thrive. She is also an advocate for the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association. She is a member of the Weed & Seed Health Taskforce, Health Prevention Committee, Youth Advisor, and a member of her church Scholarship Committee.

Keesha L. Marshall
Executive Assistant to President & CEO
Keesha L. Marshall is a life-long resident of Chattanooga and has over 20 years of experience in non-profit administration and management. She is also a licensed TN Realtor and a bonded Hamilton County, Tennessee Notary. Keesha is active in the community through various non-profit organizations where she serves as a volunteer and board member. She holds college degrees from Chattanooga State Community College and Tennessee State University. She is the proud mother of five children. Her hobbies include reading and short story writing.

Area Coordinator for the VITA Program
Val Palmer has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for over 40 years while working in the insurance industry. During this period, Val has also worked as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block, provided tax services directly to individuals and also volunteered with the Urban League. She is passionate about the VITA program and its free tax services to low income families and senior citizens. Val is also a strong supporter of volunteerism and its impact on the success and the contribution of the VITA program.
